Rail Out Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Rail Out: Train Puzzle (the "Game", "we", "us") handles information when you play. We built the Game to keep your data footprint small. Your game progress is stored on your own device, and we do not operate accounts, logins, or our own servers that collect your personal information. Please read this policy together with the Google Play Privacy Policy.
1. Summary
A quick overview of what to expect when playing Rail Out:
- We do NOT require an account, name, email, or sign-in to play.
- Your level progress, stars, hearts, coins, boosters, and settings are saved only on your device.
- We do NOT run our own analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting servers.
- Optional interstitial and rewarded ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect device and advertising identifiers.
2. Information the Game Accesses
The Game interacts with two categories of data: data stored locally on your device, and data processed by third-party services for optional features like ads.
2.1 Data stored on your device
The Game saves the following locally using your device storage (via Hive and shared preferences). This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed when you uninstall the Game or clear its data:
- Level progress, completion status, and star ratings across the 1,000 campaign levels
- Hearts, coins, and booster inventories (Track Vision, Clear Path, and Time Extend)
- Unlocked vehicle skins and your selected vehicle yard
- Daily Challenge streaks and scores
- Your settings, including audio, haptics, and colour-assist accessibility preferences
2.2 Data handled by third parties
Certain optional features rely on Google services. When you use these features, those services may collect information directly under their own privacy policies:
| Feature | Provider | Data that may be collected |
|---|---|---|
| Interstitial ads (shown periodically between levels) and rewarded ads (to refill hearts or boosters) | Google AdMob | Advertising ID, device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and ad interaction data. |
| Network connectivity check | On-device only | Whether a connection is available, used to decide if an ad can load. No browsing data is read or stored. |
3. How Information Is Used
We use information strictly for the following purposes:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles ourselves.
- To save and restore your game progress, hearts, coins, boosters, and settings on your device.
- To show interstitial ads between levels and optional rewarded ads when you choose to watch one for in-game rewards.
4. Advertising
The Game shows interstitial ads (periodically between levels) and rewarded ads (for heart and booster refills) through Google AdMob. Ads may use your device's advertising identifier to provide and measure advertising. You can limit or reset ad personalization at any time:
Android: Settings > Google > Ads, where you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads.
Learn more about how Google uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
5. Children's Privacy
Rail Out: Train Puzzle is a family-friendly puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If the Game is directed to or used by children in your region, ad content is handled in line with Google Play's Families policy and applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service in the Game, please contact us so we can help address it.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Because game data is stored locally, you are in control of it. To delete all progress and settings created by the Game, you can clear the app's data or uninstall the Game from your device. For data handled by Google AdMob and Google Play, please refer to Google's privacy controls and policies linked in this document.
7. Security
We rely on your device's built-in protections to safeguard locally stored game data, and on Google's infrastructure for ads. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, but we keep the data the Game touches to a minimum to reduce risk.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Since we do not collect or store personal information on our own servers, most requests are satisfied by managing data locally on your device or through Google's account and advertising controls. You may contact us with any questions about your rights.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Effective date' above. Continued use of the Game after an update means you accept the revised policy.
